Anyone who tells you otherwise is simply uniformed and/or is playing games at welfare resolutions like 1024x768 like it's 1995 or something. The GT 520, Radeon 5450, and 6450 are all low end crap. They are not suited for gaming. Of the three cards the 6450 is the fastest.

Just so you know. The minimum spec card for BF3 is the GeForce 8800 GT. The GT 520 is roughly 40% as fast as the 8800GT, You aren't going to play BF3 even on low settings with any of the cards you listed.



If you want to play modern games at high detail levels you'll have to step up to something like a Radeon 6850 or GeForce GTX 460 or GTX 560 (non Ti). With the Radeon 5770/6770 and Geforce GTX 550 Ti being about as low as you can reasonably go run newer games well.|||Nvidia GT520 2 gb diffrence is only 400rs. buy it here

9800GT or GT520 Which Preforms Better?

Now This Isn't for me but for my friend I'm getting GTX550Ti Superclocked so I dont want suggestions of different cards cause I only wanna know which is better out of these 2.|||Those aren't even close... the 9800GT is much faster (although an older design that doesn't support DX11).



The GT520 is just an updated GT220, it's slower than than the GT430, which is slower than the GT240 and 9600GT. To beat a 9800GT, you need a GTS 250 or GTS 450.

However, the 9800GT is a DirectX 10 card and the GT520 is a directx 11 card. (Unless DX means a lot to you, I would go for the DX10 card because of the performance difference here.)

I will use the laptop for gaming and as i am doing electrical engineering, i will use it for apps related to EEE..

I have learnt from sources that gt520 is a much weaker graphic card compared to the 540|||If you don't game, go with i7 2670, if you do, go for i5 2430.
