Is the NVIDIA GT520 1GB Video graphics card able to run battlefield 3 smoothely?

i want to know if this graphics card can handle battlefield 3, if not what is a good, affordable graphics card that is able to run battlefield 3 nicely?|||Nvidia GT520 should be able to handle Battlefield 3 if you're willing to set your graphics at low settings. It shouldn't be a problem at all in my opinion. Never tried it since I'm not using GT520. Here are the recommended system requirements for BF3 which I found at http://www.battlefield3forum.com/threads/battlefield-3-system-requirements.440/

Recommended system requirements for Battlefield 3

- OS: Windows 7 64-bit

- Processor: Quad-core Intel or AMD CPU

- RAM: 4GB

- Graphics card: DirectX 11 Nvidia or AMD ATI card, "Nvidia GeForce GTX 560" or ATI Radeon 6950.

- Graphics card memory: 1 GB

- Sound card: DirectX compatibl sound card

- Hard drive: 15 GB for disc version or 10 GB for digital version|||absolutely not.

A GTS 450 should handle Battlefield 3 decently at medium-low settings.

or perhaps, if you can spare, a GTX 550 Ti or even better, a GTX 460 Ti.

Also make sure you have a good enough Power Supply, and a motherboard that has a PCIe x16 express slot for the card.

It cant handle BF3 because its very old. The advertisements portray it as all fancy but in all reality its not. Generally, the pricier they are the more advanced they are. Sorry, GT250's, even though only 50 bucks, cannot cope with BF3.|||no, 540 or 550 is the minimum you will, to be able to make it look it good 560 is min|||yup! Max but little bit low performance only little bit

    1. Asus or whatever,gt520 is a Nvidia product. You have some misconception. The Asus silent gt520 is also Nvidia,I mean main core is made by Nvidia but other parts are of asus. There is nothing as just 'nvidia gt520',it could be XFX,Asus,Powercolor,Zotac etc.
Asus silent is silent as it does not come with cooler(fan).
Generally other gt520s(by Zotac for example) comes with cooler,so it makes noise but as the graphics card is getting cooled,it does not get overheated due to excessive use.So you can get a better and smooth performance.
